アルゼンチン南部のペリト・モレノ氷河
巨大な氷の壁の一部が、その国のパタゴニア地方にあるアルヘンティー
ノ湖に崩落した。
時々、その氷河は、湖を二つに分けるダムを造る。最後には、圧力が高
まって、巨大な氷の塊が湖に落ち込む。
国立公園を訪れていた観光客は、４年か５年に一度起こるこの氷破裂の
スペクタクルを見て楽しんだ。
