3. Mr Romney's campaign is pulling out all the stops in the mid-
western state of Illinois after he lost the Mississippi and
Alabama primaries to Mr Santorum last week. A candidate needs to
accumulate 1,144 delegates to the Republican National Convention
in August in order to secure the nomination.
