ポーランドのレーシング・チームが、冬の気候を利用して、凍った貯水
池で氷上ヨット(アイスボート)を走らせた。
一人乗りのヨットは、軽くて機動的で、時速 100キロ以上のスピード
に達することもある。
夏の月には、ヨット(セイリング・ボート)で訓練をした多くの競技者が、
冬の間、氷上ヨット(アイスボート)・レースに乗り換える。
