リオ・デ・ジャネイロの救世主キリスト像。世界で最もよく知られた聖
像モニュメントの一つ。
ブラジルの有名な建造物(キリスト像)、それは、標高 700メートルの
コルコバードの丘の頂上に立っているが、建立 80周年を祝っている。
建造に５年かかり、1931年10月に落成した。今では、毎日１万人もの
観光客が、高さ 38メートルのその背の高い像に押し寄せている。
